Explaining Why Your Company Relies on Business Aviation:
Business aviation is often misunderstood by the media, shareholders, elected officials and others. This document, assembled by NBAA's Corporate Aviation Management Committee, helps confront misperceptions by providing the most common questions about a company's use of business aviation, and offering some helpful answers.
Peter Cunzolo was one of the original founders of ExecuJet in the spring of 1994 with one plane, one business plan and his dream – to build a business that puts the customer first while providing the ultimate first-class flying experience. Fifteen years later, ExecuJet is privately and wholly owned and operated by Mr. Cunzolo. The company has grown to seven aircraft and continues to expand while providing world-class service on each of its flights, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Mr. Cunzolo's knowledge is backed by 26 years of experience. He is a professional pilot by trade with an Airline Transport Rating, several type ratings and has logged nearly 7,000 flight hours. Although he is still a current Falcon 50 PIC, he leaves the flying to his pilots on staff, while he oversees the daily operations of ExecuJet, along with his executive staff.
Mr. Cunzolo does not take the successes he has achieved for granted, choosing to give back both professionally and personally. He is a major contributor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital as well as local charities such as All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg. Professionally, he is a member of the Tampa Bay Chapter C12 Group, the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and the National Air Transportation Association (NATA.)

As Director of Operations, Michael “Mike” Marconi has more than 20 years experience in the aviation industry – 12 of which has been with ExecuJet. He oversees ExecuJet’s daily operations and is a key member of ExecuJet’s training and safety program. Additionally, Mr. Marconi works closely with other senior managers to strategically grow the company. He is a certified pilot with more than 7,000 flight hours, and is an instructor pilot for the Hawker HS125 and the Falcon DA50. Mr. Marconi has personally flown every type of aircraft currently being operated by ExecuJet Charter Service, Inc.

Mr. Jones has spent 20 years in the aviation industry, having started his career with the U.S. Air Force as a Tactical Aircraft Crew Chief. With over 5,000 hours of flight time, Mr. Freire understands what it takes to be successful in the aviation industry. His education at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University prepared him for an aviation career that took him around the country before landing in Tampa at ExecuJet.
